Ashburnham Community School are passionate about the importance of Physical Education (PE) for all of our pupils. As a result, we have recently employed Mr Garcia, a full-time PE teacher who has international coaching experience. All children from Reception to Year 6 have at least one session with Mr Garcia a week as part of their two hours minimum curriculum time dedicated to PE. In addition to this, we have a specialist table tennis coach and dance teacher, strong links with Chelsea Football Club and an extensive extra-curricular sports program. We are also currently entered into the RBKC football and netball leagues and enter all pupils from all year groups into the Sainsbury’s School Games competitions and festivals.
