Hello Year 5!

It is so lovely to have you back in school for the new school year! 

Below, you’ll find information about home learning and an introduction video – Meet the Year 5 team!

This is the work we recommend your child does at home if they need to isolate.

Home learning is different to last year

Numeracy

• Set daily on Sumdog (https://www.sumdog.com/)
• Set to consolidate the days learning
• Should take 10 minutes minimum to complete
• To be completed daily 
• Occasionally, worksheets will be posted on Google classroom as an optional extra piece of home learning.

Literacy

• Daily reading – 20 mins. Reading record now on Google Classroom. (https://classroom.google.com/)
• Weekly spellings – shared on Friday on Google classroom, tested on the following Friday.
